Reporting into an impressive CFO, the duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end and year-end close processes, payroll, payables and receivables
Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
Reconcile accounts and ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial information
Prepare and lodge various ATO and other government reports
Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
Coordinate and support external audit activities
Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports
Financial Modelling
Forecasting profitability and cash flow requirements and identifying financial risks
This role is well suited to a CA qualified first mover out of chartered, most likely currently operating at the Assistant Manager/Manager level. You will need to be adaptable, and comfortable in a fluid, dynamic environment, and engaging with senior stakeholders both internally and external customers.
