Senior Financial Accountant - ASX listed Tech business

• North Sydney based - 3 days WFH each week

•  $120k - $140k + Super

Reporting into an impressive CFO, the duties and responsibilities of this role include: 

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end and year-end close processes, payroll, payables and receivables

• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

• Reconcile accounts and ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial information

• Prepare and lodge various ATO and other government reports

• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures

• Coordinate and support external audit activities

• Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks

• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting

• Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports

• Financial Modelling

• Forecasting profitability and cash flow requirements and identifying financial risks

This role is well suited to a CA qualified first mover out of chartered, most likely currently operating at the Assistant Manager/Manager level. You will need to be adaptable, and comfortable in a fluid, dynamic environment, and engaging with senior stakeholders both internally and external customers.
