The Role This is a hands-on, exploratory role for someone who gets excited about finding inefficiencies and fixing them with practical AI solutions. You won't be handed a list of tasks — you'll spend your first months understanding how we operate, then design and deliver automation tools that make a real difference: smarter reporting, email workflows, task management, chatbots, and more.

You'll work primarily with Claude as your core tool, while remaining open to integrating other platforms where they best fit the problem.

What You'll Do

• Months 1–3: Embed yourself in the business. Shadow teams, map processes, and identify where time is being lost.

• Months 4–6: Deliver weekly quick wins — automations and AI tools that teams can start using immediately.

• Beyond: Own and lead larger transformation projects across Beck Water and potentially other companies within our group.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with AI tools — particularly Claude or similar LLM platforms — and low-code automation tools (e.g. Relay, Make, Zapier, or similar)

• A minimum of 1-2 years hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude or similar LLM platforms

• A minimum of 2+ years experience with low-code automation tools

• A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience

• Genuine curiosity about how businesses work and where technology can improve them

• The ability to translate technical ideas into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders

• A bias toward action and a track record of getting things shipped

• Openness to working across different business contexts as the role evolves

• Australian work rights are required for this position
