KeyMoves is partnering with an established accounting firm in Sydney’s South West, specialising in helping small and medium-sized businesses manage their finances. They are seeking an ambitious Intermediate Accountant to join their team. You’ll be supported and mentored by experienced Senior Managers while gaining exposure to a diverse range of clients and complex work.
The OpportunityAs an Intermediate Accountant, you will:
Work closely with the Manager & Partner attending client meetings.
Prepare financial statements, taxation returns for companies, trusts, individuals, and self-managed super funds.
Gain exposure to a variety of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7a.
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements.
Provide clients with business advisory services.
Attend industry events, client meetings, and conferences.

Requirements2+ years’ experience in a similar accounting practice (Australia).
Working towards or completed CA/CPA.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong commercial acumen and efficient time management skills.
Highly dependable and thrives as part of a team.
