Role;
Our client is a specialist firm that provides wealth advisory, tax, accounting, to their HNW clients. We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Accountant with to join a growing team. This role will be heavily involved in preparing individual tax returns and business activity statements for a portfolio of professional clients. 

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and lodgement of tax returns, for a diverse range of clients 
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
  • Attend client meetings
  • Have regular communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide updates
  • Review and reconcile client financials using accounting software
  • Maintain accurate workpapers and ensure compliance with ATO requirements
  • Assist senior accountants with tax planning and advisory tasks
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement and efficiency
Minimum Skills & Experience:
  • 2–3 years’ experience in public practice accounting
  • Working knowledge of Australian taxation laws, particularly individual tax and GST
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • A positive and friendly attitude with a client-focused attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce or related field 
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
