Task & responsibilities

• Develop relevant monthly/quarterly management/financial accounts, cash flow and variances reports in support of business objectives.
• Collaborate in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies, providing strategic insights and guidance.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies, ensuring that they align with strategic objectives.
• Analyze operating costs and assess income and expenditure strategically to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Offer assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and actively ensure compliance with statutory requirements, proactively addressing potential compliance issues.
• Provide strategic financial and taxation advice regarding business structures, plans, and operations, optimizing financial strategies for long-term success.
• Identify and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead initiatives to develop, review, and enhance internal control systems, ensuring they support the organization's strategic goals.

Qualification & experience

• Degree with Major in Accounting or Economics
• Working experience with XERO or MYOB
• Working experience with project development such as budgeting and cashflow projections
• Working experience with software Buildertrend
• Working experience with software Cube Estimating
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written 
• An advanced user of MS Excel & MS Access
• Have a strong desire to learn
